ICARE-Nanomed brings together a national network of researchers, trainees, and collaborators united by a shared commitment to advancing nanomedicine research, innovation, and training in Canada. Spanning multiple institutions and disciplines, our team reflects the inherently interdisciplinary nature of nanomedicine, with expertise ranging from chemistry and materials science to engineering, biology, pharmacology, and regulatory science.

The leadership team provides the strategic direction and oversight of the consortium, while our faculty researchers contribute complementary expertise across nanoparticle synthesis, characterization, stability, and interactions with biological systems. At the heart of ICARE-Nanomed are our trainees, who participate in interdisciplinary research, hands-on training, and collaborative activities designed to prepare them for careers across the nanomedicine sector.

Together, this multidisciplinary community is helping build the next generation of highly qualified personnel and strengthen Canada’s capacity for innovation in nanomedicine.
